It's the first Wednesday in May, so you know what that means? Double D Challenges is starting a new challenge. Our trusty leaders, Darlene and Diane are asking us to use our design paper. What a great challenge!! I have a stash of design paper that I'm trying to work my way through, so I'm very thankful for challenges like this.
The papers in the background were pulled out of a box of 6x6 paper squares. Most of them were cut from 12x12 sheets at one time, long, long ago, so I have no names or company to give credit to.
I printed a library card on my home printer on a piece of pale pink cardstock and added these pretty vellum painted flowers from Pinkfresh Studio. The sentiment is a preprinted foiled sentiment, also from Pinkfresh Studio. I rubbed a bit of Antique Paper DOX ink over the top to make it not so white.
I added a scalloped strip of gray polka dotted paper found in my scrap box and a file tab to the top of the library card. The least bit of stamping can be found on the top of the card and file tab, using Tim Holtz Field Notes stamps. I do love those stamps!
Here's the inspiration tile put together for you by Diane:
And here's the prize you could win when you play along:
I'd also like to add this card to the following challenges:
